Bluebells

The above shots show how foot paths erode and split around trees especially during wet weather as people widen the paths thus destroying the habitat for both Bluebells and the Wood Anemones.
A vast amount of bluebells have been destroyed over the last three decades which is why is why we needed to install paths to protect the flora for future generations to enjoy.
The bluebells and other wild flowers flourish after coppicing as the reduction in the canopy allows more light to reach the forest floor.

Please help preserve the wild flowers by keeping to the paved paths.
