Our log sales resume every Saturday from Saturday 18 July 2026, between 2pm and 3pm ONLY.

Whether you’re stocking up for winter or planning long evenings in the garden, we have what you need.

**NEW sizes available this year!** In addition to our standard logs by the barrow-load, we also have bags of smaller logs suitable for small fire pits/chimineas, and logs suitable for larger first pits/chimineas/small log burners. PLUS our large bags of kindling (all pictured).

PRICE LIST:

  • Logs suitable for small fire pits / chimineas:
    • £5 per bag / three bags for £12
  • Logs in bags suitable for larger fire pits / chimineas / small log burners (as used on narrow boats):
    • £11 per bag / three bags for £30
  • Standard logs:
    • £15 per wheelbarrow load
  • Kindling
    • £15 for a large bag

All the logs we sell are a natural by-product of the conservation woodland management carried out at Birchanger Wood, such as coppicing. We never cut down trees to make logs.

You can find us at our Compound – drive up past the Scout Hut off Heath Row and we will help you load up your car. More info and a map can be found here.

All the money raised goes towards maintaining the woodland and carrying out further conservation projects, in line with our charitable aims and objectives. Card payment or cash.
